Selling Obama’s Seat

So CHICAGO - Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich tried to benefit from his ability to appoint President-elect Barack Obama’s replacement in the U.S. Senate, by allegedily trying to aution off Obama’s seat to the highest bidder. Blagojevich had been arrested hours earlier on tuesday morning and was released later in the day after posting a $4,500 bond.
A 76-page FBI affidavit said the 51-year-old Democrat was intercepted on court-authorized wiretaps over the last month conspiring to sell or trade the vacant Senate seat for personal benefits for himself and his wife, Patti.
We need to make sure that we fufill our end of the bargain in an Obama Administration. It starts by making sure we understand what is going on in gorvernment during these hard times.
Just because the election is over doesnt mean its time to stop paying attention
